General Information

Design Whilst there are many designs to choose from in the galleries, you may also have ideas of your own. We will work with your ideas and suggestions to design the most suitable cake for your special occasion.

Flavour Standard flavours available are vanilla sponge, chocolate sponge, lemon sponge and rich fruit cake. If you prefer a different flavour, please ask when making an enquiry.

Size Most standard shaped cakes are available as small, standard, large and extra large. Novelty cakes are available as standard size serving approximately 25 small portions, or large, serving approximately 35 small portions. Fairy cakes and cupcakes are available as a minimum order of 24 unless ordering as a party extra where the minimum order is 10.

Price Guide For your convenience cakes in the galleries are individually priced. Unless otherwise stated prices are for standard sized sponge cakes serving approximately 25 small portions. Prices for alternative sizes are available on request. In general, the larger the cake the more cost effective the price per serving! This also includes cupcakes and cookies.

Ordering a Cake Cakes can be ordered by email, telephone, in person (by appointment) or on-line.  For wedding cakes there is an option to pay by Paypal, paying either a £50 deposit or the full amount. The balance, where applicable, is payable by cash or cheque not later than three weeks ahead of the wedding.

Delivery Celebration and christening cakes are usually collected from Angel Cakes on an agreed date and time. Wedding cakes will be delivered and set-up locally free of charge. For non-local venues, a price will be given for delivery, or alternatively, your cake can be boxed for collection.

For celebration cakes, once we have confirmed that the date is available, either full or deposit payment (cash or cheque) should be made within five days to secure your order.
